Phomas, Photography Management System, is the first management system developed specifically for eCommerce product photography. As the growing eCommerce business became responsible for a more important part of the turnover, the need arose for many brand owners to take control of the content creation for their eCommerce platform. The development of Phomas was initiated in 2012 by the well-known fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger. After the decision to set up their own photo studio for eCommerce content creation, there was no facilitating software available on the market. A team of specialists, eCommerce buyers, sales, photographers, image editors and IT, led by Linx IT Solutions, have defined the foundation of the current Phomas application.
